From time to time Jim Soucie, President of Care Co. Int'l, Inc. and his grandson Jackson, future top salesman, will offer you sales tips and new product info about our popular PACKNTOTE reusable bags. Simply read this and make more money!!
Hello again,
2009 promises to be an interesting year. With this soft economy, we have seen many changes in businesses in the way they offer their goods; mostly combating slow sales with large discounts or special offers. I think it’s important to step up to the plate and change your habits in how you do business as well. THIS is the time to get out of your comfort zone and think of new ideas of how to sell in this cost sensitive environment. |

Jack and I have been doing just that! We’ve been thinking of ways we can help you sell our bags. We’ve come up with a three step process: New Lower Pricing, A New Green Bag, and A New Prospect List
NEW LOWER PRICING - The lower pricing can be found on our easy-to-use web site, www.packntote.com that will outline our reduced prices that you can offer your clientele. This should make it easier to sell when approaching new and existing clients. All of our bag prices have been reduced, however the one time set up fees have gone up.
A NEW GREEN BAG – In keeping with the GREEN trend as well as low pricing, we have added a new bag that meets both criteria. This bag will allow your client to participate in the GREEN movement, who is on a very limited budget. We call it our VALUE BAG; it’s simple and economical!
A NEW PROSPECT LIST – We’ve also tried to help you in coming up with new types of prospects, ones that perhaps you would normally not call on. These businesses are somewhat immune to inflation and have been sold to by other promotional companies. This is when you need to get out of your comfort zone and go after different types of accounts to help hedge against the “recession”.
For example: Waste Management, Farmers Markets, Law Firms, Lotteries/Keno, Liquor/wine stores, Casinos, Essential Services like: Utilities, Plumbers, Auto repair, Medical – of all types, Heating & Air Conditioning, and Computer Repair.
- Fundraising: Charities (national & local), schools, churches, teams, scouts
- Benevolent Groups: Eagles, Rotary, Masons, Elks, Veterans, Ser-to-ma
- Coupon Companies: On line, mailers
- Manufacturers/Distributors/Importers for: Food, wine, liquor
- Farmer/rancher suppliers: Seed, feed, equipment, bug and weed
- Environmental Groups
- Discount stores: Salvation Army, Thrift Stores, Goodwill, Armed Forces, Movie Theaters, National Fast Food
Think about the businesses in your area that are somewhat inflation proof.

A comprehensive study implemented by ASI indicated that:
- Among wearables, BAGS were reported to be used most frequently, with respondents indicating that they use their bags on average nine times per month.
- BAGS deliver the most impressions, with 1,038 impressions per month on average.
- Advertising specialties beat out all forms of TV, radio and print advertising as the most cost-effective advertising medium available.
- 84% of people remember the advertiser on a product they receive.
- Most respondents (62%) have done business with the advertiser on a product after receiving it.
- The majority (81%) of promotional products were kept because they were considered useful.
- The average cost-per-impression of an advertising specialty item is $0.004, making it less expensive per impression than nearly any other media. (According to Nielsen Media data, the CPI for a national magazine ad is $0.033; a newspaper ad is $0.0129; a prime time TV ad is $0.019; a cable TV ad is $0.007; a syndicated TV ad is $0.006; and a spot radio ad is $0.005)
